Family Interview

Admission to Chicago Hope Academy is based on several important factors, one of which is a personal interview with the applicant and the applicant’s family.

After a student has completed his/her full application and has taken CHA’s entrance exam, the next step in the admission process is a family interview with the applicant and his/her parent(s)/guardian. In cases where the student lives with only one parent (due to divorce, separation, or other circumstance), the family interview should consist of the student and the parent/guardian with whom the applicant resides.

The purpose of the family interview is to make sure that the student is a good fit for CHA, and that CHA is a good fit for the student. The interview is a time for us to get to know the student and his/her parents on a deeper level, while allowing the family to verbalize any questions or concerns that they may have.

Following the family interview, the family will be notified within a couple of weeks regarding whether or not the student has been accepted (provided that the family has turned in all required items).
