Applying for Financial Aid
Please check back in December 2008 for the 2009-2010 Financial Aid application
Chicago Hope Academy uses an objective third party called Confidential Financial Analysis (CFA) to assess the financial needs of our students and their families. There are two ways to submit a tuition assistance application to CFA:
Go to Parent Log-in
Select: “Click here" to create your password
School Code: 11600
User ID: cfanow
Password: create your own; all characters are case sensitive
You will need a credit card in order to submit your application online. The cost for applying online is $20.
* If you need to leave the application and come back to it, make sure you have your SSN on the application and save it to come back to later. If you don't, you will be charged every time you do the application online.
2. Applying on Paper: You may obtain a paper copy of the tuition assistance application from Chicago Hope Academy, or download it from www.online-cfa.com (you will need the school code, user ID and password listed above). The cost for applying by mail or by fax is $25. You may pay by check, money order, VISA/MC. Please make all checks out to “Development Testing Services.”
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Detailed instructions are included with the actual application, both online and in paper form.
- Please also submit a copy of the 2008 Federal 1040 Tax Form for ALL ADULTS in your household.
- You will receive your Tuition Assistance award decision if your child is accepted to Chicago Hope Academy. .
- The deadline for Tuition Assistance applications is March 1, 2009. Although additional applications may be accepted after this date, it is possible that funds will be exhausted. Requests for financial assistance received after March 1st will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- If you need help filling out the application, please call Craig Scobie, our Financial Aid Director at 773-883-8740. He may also be reached by email at craig@scobiegroup.com. Mr. Scobie will be at the school on Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Please call the school at 312-491-1600 to set up a time to meet with him.
