FOOTBALL

Hope Football is about discipline, dedication, and courage. Hope Football is about passion, toughness, and the love of the game. Hope Football is about touching greatness on the field and in our lives. Hope Football is about representing Christ with our effort, our character, and our play. The Chicago Hope Football Team is coming off a successful first season of varsity football in which the boys defeated all of their opponents in the city of Chicago en route to a 3-5 record.

This year the Hope Academy Eagles are taking a forward step in their scheduling, lining up against some of the best competition in the area, climaxing in a week 9 match up with perennial power St. Rita. The program, in only its third year, competes on both a JV and Varsity schedule. Under the leadership of head coach and proven winner Mike Laneve, the 2008 Eagles are ready to soar. CHA plays its home games at Altgeld Park, 2600 Harrison Ave., overlooking the Eisenhower Expressway.
